This policy covers the Cosee web and mobile apps. The Cosee Studio — Clip Products browser extension is covered separately, in the Extension Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and project data you upload (photos, product selections, notes). We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, feature usage) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to provide the Cosee service, process payments, send transactional emails, and improve our product (we do not use your content to train AI models). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (AWS). All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload to Cosee. We do not claim ownership of your photos, selections, or project data. Content you choose to sell via playbooks is distributed only to paying customers as you direct.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), product analytics (PostHog, with session replays masked so they contain no text or images you upload), and AI features. Our AI model providers currently include OpenAI, Google and Anthropic, reached through Vercel AI Gateway, and AssemblyAI for transcription. Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

AI features. Cosee uses AI models to help you work: to name and describe items from photos and product pages, to read documents you import, to suggest categories, to generate room visualizations you ask for, to answer questions in the project assistant, and to transcribe and summarize audio and video you upload. To do this we send the relevant content (the photo, the document, the text, the recording) to a third-party AI provider on our instructions, under contracts that prohibit the provider from using it to train their models. Your files and project data are never used to train AI models, by us or by our providers. Providers may hold a request briefly for abuse monitoring and then delete it; we do not keep copies of your content with any AI provider beyond what is needed to return the result to you.

AI assistants you connect. If you connect Cosee to an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, you approve that connection on a Cosee consent page. The assistant can then read the projects you can open in Cosee and make the changes you ask for, with the same role and budget access you have in the app. What the assistant reads from Cosee is processed by its provider under that provider's own terms and privacy policy. Cosee keeps a record of changes made through the connection so you can review and undo them. You can disconnect at any time in your Cosee account under Active sessions. 6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

7. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at our contact page or emailing support. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
