Connect Co|See to your AI assistant

Co|See is the living library of home projects, shared by homeowners, designers and builders: the photos, videos, documents, links and notes, with the conversation attached. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, and your assistant works on your projects with you. It brings in what lands in your email, finds any item, adds products from a link, and shares spec sheets.

Connect it

You'll need a Co|See account. When you connect, Co|See asks you to sign in and approve. Your assistant will be able to see your projects and edit your projects.

Claude (web, desktop and mobile)

  1. Go to Customize → Connectors and search for Co|See.
  2. Click Connect and approve on the Co|See page.
  3. In a chat, turn it on from + → Connectors.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner turns it on for the organization first. On Team plans, members can click Request to ask for it.

Claude Code

Once you've connected Co|See in Claude, it's there in Claude Code too when you're signed in with the same account. To add it directly instead:

Search for Co|See in ChatGPT's apps.

Don't see Co|See yet? Any assistant can connect by its address, https://meridian.cosee.com/mcp. In Claude, use Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.

Things to ask

  • “Find the approval that came in by email today and sign off those items in my kitchen project.” (with your email connected too)
  • “Add the price from this receipt to the vanity in the guest bath.”
  • “Add this sconce to the primary bath under Lighting: [link]”
  • “Where did we land on the backsplash tile?”
  • “Name green ‘Approved’ and show me everything that's approved.”
  • “Make a spec sheet of the plumbing fixtures for our builder, without prices.”
  • “Describe any photos in this project that don't have a description yet.”
  • “Undo the last change you made.”

What it can see and change

Your assistant can only do what you could do yourself in Co|See.

  • It reaches only the projects you can open, with the role you have there. A viewer can't make changes.
  • Prices appear only where your budget access allows.
  • Features follow the project owner's plan.
  • Comments it posts appear under your name.
  • Its edits are recorded, so you can ask it to undo most of them.

Good to know

  • Photos: Claude Code can upload photos from your computer. Claude on the web or desktop can add a photo from a public image link. A photo pasted into the chat can't be passed to Co|See yet.
  • ChatGPT: it may not be able to see your photos. Everything else works the same.
  • Big jobs: your assistant can make up to 60 changes every 5 minutes. For large imports, ask it to work in batches, or import a Co|See CSV.

Disconnect

In Co|See, go to Account → Active sessions, find the assistant, and choose Sign out. You can also remove Co|See in your assistant's connector settings.
